Originally I began this plugin because I needed something like that over at wolfcms.org but decided to release it for the greater good. It basically allows you (as the site admin) to give your users a "My account" page. It also tries to serve as the hub of the site where plugins can add their own action links. An action could be something like: "Connect an OpenID account to your site account". This is entirely up to the plugin developers whether or not they choose to use this hub.
I found myself needing a plugin that would automatically twitter about new blog posts I made... I'm lazy that way. ;) So I quickly hacked up this one. As you can tell from its name and the comments in the code, I have some plans for future expansion.
Lots of people have asked for a forum plugin in the past or have asked how they can integrate an existing forum into Wolf CMS. The sad fact of the matter is that most forum software out there doesn't really take integration into account. Many do take into account that you might want to change the forum's look and feel, but using the same user account for both the site and forum (single sign on) is something that is usually out of scope.
Because of that and since I thought it'd create a nice side project, I decided to write this Forum plugin...
The TinyMCE plugin for Wolf CMS changes all textareas in the "Pages" section of Wolf CMS into editor instances. To avoid possible problems with the Markdown and Textile filters, its probably best to turn those plugins off.
People looking for the BD counter plugin for Wolf CMS can find one here. No guarantees its workable though.
Do you appreciate my work on Wolf CMS?
