Finalist in Packt Awards!

Posted on Fri, 24 Sep 2010 in wolf cms, blog, award by Martijn

I just wanted to thank everyone who has nominated Wolf CMS for the Packt Awards! We did it! Packt Publishing has just announced that Wolf CMS is one of the five nominees in the “Most Promising Open Source Project” category of the 2010 Open Source Awards.

This little project of mine has grown in little over a year, from zero to over 11,000 downloads for the stable releases alone! In that year, the software has undergone lots of improvements, the community has grown a lot and we now have four team members who are part of the core project team. Apart from all of that, we've recently introduced a brand new plugin repository to the site and we've seen the number of community contributed plugins steadily increasing!

The next phase of the awards, starting on monday September 27th, is the actual voting. Besides a panel of judges, the community at large will be able to cast their vote for their favorite candidate. Of course I'm hoping you’ll show your support and cast your vote for Wolf CMS when the time comes to help us win.

Again, thanks to everyone who was kind enough to nominate Wolf CMS!
